Reading Challenge

The Pawsome Reader program encourages reading among Whitt students of all grade levels. Our goal for the reading program is to motivate students to read more inside and outside the classroom and to recognize the reading efforts of our Wolves throughout the school year. Students will receive a reading tracker to record the number of minutes they read each day. This includes all reading--i.e. homework, independent reading, reading with an adult, reading items of interest online, etc. Each reading log totals 500 minutes. Parents will have to sign off on your child’s Reading Tracker. Students will turn in completed trackers to their homeroom teacher.

Birthday Marquee

Let us help celebrate your Whitt Wolf by displaying Happy Birthday on the marquee. Your child's name will be displayed on their birthday week from Monday-Friday during business hours. Spirit Nights

Throughout the school year, the Whitt PTA hosts a “spirit night” at different locations in the Murphy/Wylie area.  It’s a great way to get out of cooking dinner and socialize with our Wolf Families! When you let them know you’re with Whitt, a portion of your tab is donated to the Whitt PTA.
