Counseling

I am so excited to be your school counselor! I have been in education since 2010, where I worked at Cooper Jr. High in Wylie. I was at Cooper for nine years before becoming your Counselor at Whitt in 2019. I live in Wylie with my husband, Daniel, who teaches and coaches at Wylie High, and my kids, Ava, and Jaxx. We enjoy watching/playing sports, spend a lot of time outside at parks or the lake, and love quality time together. 

Throughout the course of the year, we will discuss kindness, empathy, bullying, internet safety, anti-victimization, respect, caring, grit, gratitude, and celebrations. I am also the 504 coordinator for our campus and am happy to help with any questions or concerns.
